About This Exhibition
The landmark Frida Kahlo exhibition featuring more than 30 paintings by Kahlo alongside 120 works by five successive generations of artists who responded to her legacy — from Surrealist contemporaries of the 1930s through the Chicana/o movement, feminist and gay-rights activism, and identity-focused generations of recent decades. A gallery devoted to 'Fridamania' displays 200+ objects of global mass-market Kahlo merchandise. Before traveling to Tate Modern, London.
